Pre-Branding (Important)

Before starting the installation, please follow the instructions below:

1-Install Net Framework 4.6.1 RunTime

2-Install Net Framework 4.6.1 Developer Pack

3- WinRAR Extractor
The software is delivered as a compressed file ".RAR" extension which can be extracted using WinRAR Free-Software.
If you don't have WinRAR Extractor on your windows device, Feel free to download from the URL below:

While installing WinRar, dont' forget to Enable the ISO Extraction



4- Google Chrome Browser
Feel free to update or download Google Chrome Browser from the URL below:

5- MicrosoftEdge Webview2 (for OLD Windows Versions)
If you are using an old windows version (Example: Windows7 or Windows8), you may need to install MicrosoftEdge webview2 in order to host the webviews.

Install Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 Professional

In order to rebrand the software with your brand name and logo, you need to edit inside the Open-Source files using Visual Studio 2013 process
You need to use a Windows10 device or higher windows device for the rebranding process
Free Download the "Visual Studio 2013 Professional" from the URL below:

Click Download beside the Visual Studio 2013 Professional


Once the download is completed, Right-click on the .ISO file and Extract


You can see the extracted folder, double click to Open it


double click on vs_professional.exe to start the setup process


You can see the setup wizard, click Continue


Click Next


Be sure that all options are selected "Select All" and click on Install


Just wait for the installation


Done, click Launch


Click on Start Visual Studio


Close the visual studio, to continue the last step below.

Install Project Extension

You need to install the "Installer Projects Extension" for the Microsoft Visual Studio
Free Download the "Visual Studio Installer Projects" from the URL below:

After the download is completed, just double click on the download file to Install the extension

Congratulations, You are ready to start the Rebranding Process!

Rebranding WaCastuna

Because you have purchased the Resell Rights "Open-Source", you can rebrand this software with your brand name and logo
You need to have your brand name (Text), and your new brand logo icon (.ico) with dimension: 48x48 px

You can follow these steps to Rebrand the Software:

• Open the "Visual Studio 2013"
  
  



• Click on "File > Open > Project/Solution"
  
  



• Choose the destination "WaCastuna > OpenSource > WaCastuna.sln" and click open
  
  



• You can see the project files opened and ready under the "Solution Explorer"
  
  

Rebranding the Software Name

You need to have your brand name as one word without spaces. Example: If your brand name is 2 words: Sun Shine, then use it as: SunShine

You can follow these steps to Rebrand the Software with your Brand Name:

1. "WaCastuna > Strings.cs"
   From the "Solutions Explorer", Open the drop-down-menu of "WaCastuna" scroll down and double-click on "Strings.cs"
   
   
   
   At Line18: Change the AppName from "WaCastuna" to your Brand Name or Software Name.
   
   
   
   If you don't have the knowledge: Don't edit any other lines due to related functions "Just follow the guidance".
   
   Click on the Save Icon or "CTRL + S", and then "Close" the tab by Clicking on the Close Icon on the Strings.cs tab.
   
   



2. "SetupWizard .. Properties"
   Right-Click on "SetupWizard" and click on "Properties"
   
   
   
   Replace WaCastuna with Your Brand Name, and click OK
   
   
   
   Click on the Save Icon or "CTRL + S"



3. "SetupWizard > Primary Output from WaCastuna"
   From the "Solutions Explorer", Open the drop-down-menu of "SetupWizard" and double-click on "Primary Output from WaCastuna (Active)"
   
   
   
   User's Desktop > WaCastuna .. Properties
   Click on "User's Desktop", then Right-Click on "WaCastuna" and click on "Properties"
   
   
   
   In the Name field: replace "WaCastuna" to your Software Name
   
   
   
   Repeat the same process for: "User's Programs Menu"
   
   
   
   
   
   Click on the Save Icon or "CTRL + S" and then "Close" the tab.
   
   



4. Last Step: "SetupWizard .. Deploy Properties"
   If you cannot find it, you can: (Right-Click on any sub-file and click Properties, then one left-click on the "SetupWizard"
   
   
   
   Replace the fields (Author, Manufacturer, Product Name, Title) with your Brand Name or Software Name
   
   

Rebranding the Software Icon

You need to have your brand Icon in ".ico" extension. Icon dimensions: 48x48 px
If your Icon is PNG, you can convert it easily only. Just search on google with: Convert PNG to ICO Online

You can follow these steps to Rebrand the Software with your Brand Icon:

1. "WaCastuna .. Properties"
   From the "Solutions Explorer", right-click on "WaCastuna" and click on "Properties"
   
   
   
   Click on the 3 dots beside the current icon to add your .ico icon and use it.
   
   
   
   Choose your .ico icon and click on "Open"
   
   
   
   Your Icon has been opened and inserted, just click Save
   Don't close this tab, continue to next step from the same path.
   
   



2. From the left column, click on "Resources", then click on "Images", and choose "Icons"
   
   
   
   You can see the Icons as shown below
   
   
   
   Click on "Add Resource", then click on "Add Existing File"
   
   
   
   Choose your Icon and click on "Open".
   Hint: Remember Your Icon Name
   
   
   
   Save and then Close the tab
   
   
   
   "WaCastuna > Strings.cs"
   From the "Solutions Explorer", open the drop-down-menu of "WaCastuna" and scroll down to double-click on "Strings.cs"
   
   
   
   At Line19: Remove the "logo48wac" and then remove the dot "."
   
   
   At Line19: Write the dot "." and then find your new icon name to double-click on it
   
   
   Done, It will be showing like that with your icon name
   
   
   
   Click on the Save Icon or "CTRL + S", and then "Close" the tab by Clicking on the Close Icon on the Strings.cs tab.
   



3. Last Step: "SetupWizard > Primary Output from WaCastuna"
   From the "Solutions Explorer", open the drop-down-menu of "SetupWizard" and double-click on "Primary Output from WaCastuna (Active)"
   
   
   
   User's Desktop > WaCastuna .. Properties
   Click on "User's Desktop", then Right-Click on "WaCastuna" and click on "Properties"
   
   
   
   Open the icon drop-down-menu and click on "Browse"
   
   
   
   then click on "Browse"
   
   
   
   then "Add File" to add your .ico icon, then click "OK"
   
   
   
   
   
   Repeat the same process for: "User's Programs Menu"
   
   
   
   
   
   Save and Close
   
   

Software Colors

You can easily change the Software Colors

You can follow these steps to Rebrand the Software with your Color Choice:

• "WaCastuna > WaCastunaForm.cs .. View Code"
  From the "Solutions Explorer", open the drop-down of "WaCastuna", then right-click on "WaCastunaForm.cs" and choose "View Code"
  
  
  
  At Line73: Remove the "DeepOrange" and remove the "."
  
  
  
  At Line73: Write the ".", and double-click on the color of your choice
  
  
  
  Save and Close
  
  

Default Language

You can easily change the Default Software Language

You can follow these steps to set the Default Language of the Software:

• "WaCastuna > Strings.cs"
  From the "Solutions Explorer", open the drop-down of "WaCastuna", then double-click on "Strings.cs"
  
  
  
  At Line20: Remove the "English" and remove the "."
  
  
  
  At Line20: Write the ".", and double-click on the new default language of your choice
  
  
  
  Example: "Italian", to become the default language
  
  
  
  Save and Close
  

Tools Control

You can easily Enable / Disable availablity of any tool in the Software

You can follow these steps to enable or disable any tool inside your Software:

• "WaCastuna > Strings.cs"
  From the "Solutions Explorer", open the drop-down of "WaCastuna", then double-click on "Strings.cs"
  
  
  
  Find this section
  
  
  
  Change any tool from "true" to "false"
  Example: To remove the tool of "Grab Chat List" from your software, just replace "true" to "false"
  
  
  
  Save and Close
  

Create Setup Wizard

To get the software setup wizard with your new brand, You need to delete the setup file and rebuild it

You can follow these steps to get the Setup Wizard with your Brand:

• "SetupWizard .. Open Folder in File Explorer"
  From the "Solution Explorer", right-click on the "SetupWizard", and choose "Open Folder in File Explorer"
  
  
  
  Right-click on the "Debug" folder, and "Delete the folder"
  
  
  
  "SetupWizard .. Build"
  From the "Solution Explorer", right-click on the "SetupWizard", and choose "Build"
  
  
  
  After the "Build" is completed. Right-click on the "SetupWizard", and choose "Open Folder in File Explorer"
  
  
  
  You can see the new Debug folder" which contains your branded Setup Wizard
  You can rename the folder name and give it to your customers to install your branded software.
  
  
  
  Don't forget to click on the Save Icon or "CTRL + S", and close the Microsoft Visual Studio. "Big Thanks to Microsoft"
